Jak tworzyć i prowadzić łotrzykowskie kampanie?
Steal a noble’s yacht. Get thrown out of the Silver Eel. Stop a mad god’s avatar.
It's just another day in the City of Thieves…
Jest coś romantycznego w tych wszystkich gildiach złodziei, miastach łotrów, wyczynach przebiegłych awanturników. Jeżeli interesuje was choć trochę taki klimat, to przedstawiam poradnik gdzie najlepiej szukać inspiracji do przełożenia czegoś takiego na konwencje RPG.
Główną i najważniejszą pozycją do zdobycia jest stanowczo seria Thieves' World wydawnictwa Green Ronin z 2005.
Autorzy zdołali przerobić nieporadną trzecią edycję D&D w pięknie odwzorowanie fantastycznego i barwnego świata Sanctuary. Wyrzucono durną klasę kleryka (na jej miejsce wszedł Priest), przerobiono system magii, i dodano dziesiątki świetnie zrobionych klas podstawowych i prestiżowych.
Thieves' World Player's Manual
Thieves' World Shadowspawn Guide to Sanctuary
Thieves' World Gazetteer
Wszystkie warte polecenia, do kupienia tutaj.
Thieves' World Murder At The Vulgar Unicorn
Thieves' World Black Snake Dawn
Drugim głównym źródłem pomysłów jest Lankhmar Fritza Leibera, czyli cykl of Fafhrdrze i Grey Mouserze. Z jego opowiadań moim ulubionym jest "Bones of the Master Thieves" ze zbioru Swords against Death.
Appendix I - Inne podręczniki RPG
DCC Lankhmar: Through Ningauble's Cave
DCC Lankhmar: Patrons of Lankhmar
DCC Lankhmar: Masks of Lankhmar
Jalizar City of Thieves - suplement do Beasts & Barbarians
The Complete Thief's Handbook AD&D - suplement z poradami m. in. jak zaprojektować własną gildię złodziei
Appendix II - Nowe klasy do The Fantasy Trip
